2015 Can-Am UTV Models First Look 0
This week Can-Am released details on its 2015 models. While its ATV line got the lion’s share of the updates and new models, the UTV models did not go untouched. The list isn’t long as both the Mavericks and Commanders mainly received new colors and wheels.
The 2015 Maverick and Maverick MAX family goes unchanged except for the mud-ready Maverick 1000R X mr. The X mr gets a lower “L gear “ to handle heavier loads to the CVT transmission in heavy slop. The engagement is also said to be softer. Large-diameter 47mm Fox piggyback shocks are also new for 2015. A striking Digital Camo and Manta Green colorway sets it apart from the crowd.
The 2015 Commander 800R and 1000 line gets new cast wheels, as does the Commander MAX 1000. XT models also get model-specific cast aluminum wheels as well as a 4500-pound Warn winch. A handful of new trim colors have been added with the base model 800R and 1000 DPS getting a light grey with red graphics. The 800R XT and 1000 XT can be had in a Pearl White or Brushed Aluminum color. A Black-and-Orange scheme is the only choice for the Commander 1000 XT-P. The MAX also receives the Brushed Aluminum finish on the XT model.
A special Commander 1000 Limited gets a host of accessories and special trim. A two-piece grey roof, Garmin GPS, half-windshield, sound system and specially stitched seats increase rider comfort. Exterior changes include new cast wheels, a heavy-duty front bumper, a rear net and mud guards. Just as the XT models the Commander Limited is fitted with a 4500-pound Warn ProVantage winch. A premium White Pearl paint finish is the only color choice for the Limited.
Pricing is TBD at this time.
